CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University baseball team was limited to two hits as they fell 6-0 to the Pace University Setters in a non-conference clash. The Cougars fall to 6-5 overall, while the Setters improve to 15-7 on the season.

Dominick Orlando (Manalapan, NJ) reached on an infield single in the fifth inning, while sophomore
Noah Clark (Toms River, NJ) doubled in the ninth.
Pace hit a pair of homeruns in the second and the fourth innings, while scoring a run in the first and adding a pair in the sixth. Â
On the mound, sophomore
Justin Picinic (River Vale, NJ) fell to 0-2 on the season as he tossed four innings, allowing four runs on seven hits, while striking out one. Sophomore
Joshua Caba (Belleville, NJ) came on for two innings, allowing two runs on three hits and struck out three. Sophomore
Christopher Cerf (Ramsey, NJ) tossed two scoreless innings, allowing one hits and struck out two, while freshman
Anthony Tornatore (Fairfield, NJ) pitched a scoreless ninth inning.
The Cougars return to the diamond on Wednesday, March 30 as they travel to Felician University for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference doubleheader starting at 3 pm. Â
