Women’s Lacrosse Loses to Molloy

CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University Women's Lacrosse team fell to Molloy College 18-4  in a non-conference clash. The Cougars fall to 0-3 on the season, while the Lions improve to 5-2 overall.
 
Sophomore Emily Fey (Center Moriches, NY) netted her third goal of the season at the 16:22 mark of the opening half.
 
The Cougars added two more goals in the opening half as sophomore Mariah Wynn (Clearwater, FL) and junior Courtney Donlon (East Brunswick, NJ) found the back of the net for Caldwell
 
Freshman Rachel Lucia (Egg Harbor Township, NJ) added a goal midway in the second half for the Cougars. Sophomore Pamela Schenck (East Moriches, NY) totaled three draw controls to lead Caldwell, while Wynn added two
 
In net, freshman Elizabeth Ruedemann (Monmouth Junction, NJ) recorded 14 saves in 60 minutes between the pipes.
 
The Cougars are back in action on Thursday, March 17 as they host the Queens College Knights in a 3 pm match at the Essex Valley School Athletic Complex in West Caldwell.
