LANTANA, Fla.- The Caldwell University baseball team fell to Fairmont St. University 5-0 as they continued their play in the Sunshine State on Monday. The Cougars fall to 2-4 over, while the Fighting Falcons improve to 9-3 on the season.
Fairmont St. got their five runs in the first three innings of play with a solo homerun in the first. The Fighting Falcons added two in the second and two more in the third innings.

Richard Evaniecki (Bloomfield, NJ) settled in on the mound after the third inning and pitched a scoreless fourth and fifth. Evaniecki (0-1) tossed five innings, allowing five runs (three earned) on eight hits, while striking out one. Freshman
Anthony Frascati (Bloomfield, NJ) pitched three scoreless innings in relief, allowing two hits and struck out four.
Caldwell wraps up their Florida Spring Trip as they face regional foe Molloy College on Tuesday, March 15 at Lynn University at 11 am. Â
