Taryn Auyong (Honolulu, Hawaii) tallied 15 kills to lead the Caldwell University volleyball team to their 3-0 win against Dominican College in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action.

The Cougars win their third in a row as they improve to 15-9 overall and 8-4 in the CACC, while the Chargers drop to 4-17 and 3-9 in conference play.

In the opening set, the teams were tied at 8-8 before the Cougars ripped off nine of the next 10 points to lead 17-9. Caldwell took the first set 25-14. The Cougars led 11-10 in the second set, tallied six points in a row on their way to a 25-17 set two victory. Caldwell raced out to a 10-4 lead in the third set as they took the match 25-14.

Auyong chipped in six digs, while junior
Katrina Janssen (Seville, Australia) totaled 11 kills and five digs. Freshman
Avery Stanechewski (Tampa, Fla.) recorded eight kills, while freshman
Kathleen Compagno (Orland Park, Ill.) posted three aces.

Melanie Krpec (Katy, Texas) totaled two kills and seven digs, while junior
Jessica Mitchell (Plainfield, Ill.) tallied a match-up 19 digs. Junior
Gabrielle Bennett (San Antonio, Texas) led the Cougars with 18 assists, two aces and five digs, while sophomore
Jordan Hoffman (Colorado Springs, Colo.) finished with 15 assists and two kills.
