WILMINGTON Del.- The Caldwell University women's tennis team fell to Wilmington University 9-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match.
The Cougars fall to 4-8 overall and 1-5 in the CACC, while the Wildcats improve to 7-3 and 6-1 in conference play.

Junior Valeria Otarola (Lima, Peru) and freshman Janis Jimenez (Shrub Oak, N.Y.) fell at #1 doubles 8-3. Senior Debra Pellegrino (Valley Stream, N.Y) and junior Shannon Donaldson (Bonita Springs, Fla) lost their match at #2 doubles 8-2.

In singles play, Otarola lost at the top singles top 6-2, 6-0. Jimenez battled at #2 singles but fell 7-6 (7-3), 6-1.

The Cougars travel to Philadelphia University on Saturday, October 15 for a CACC match at 11 am.
