KUTZTOWN, Pa.- The Caldwell University women's tennis team posted four singles wins and a pair of doubles victories en-route to a 6-3 win against Kutztown University in a non-conference match.
The Cougars improve to 4-7 overall, while the Golden Bears fall to 0-3.

Rebecca Ryan (Berkeley Heights, N.J.) and
Valeria Otarola (Lima, Peru) took the #1 doubles 8-5. Freshman
Janis Jimenez (Shrub Oak, N.Y.) and junior
Shannon Donaldson (Bonita Springs, Fla.) swept #2 doubles 8-0.
In singles play, Ryan swept the #1 spot, 6-0, 6-0. Otarola took the win at #2 singles 4-6, 6-2, 10-5, while Jimenez posted a 6-2, 6-1 win at #3 singles. Donaldson also won her match at #4 singles 6-0, 6-0.
The Cougars return to conference play as they travel to face Wilmington University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play on Thursday, October 13 at 3:00 pm.
