CALDWELL, N.J.- Senior
Kelly Folk (Jackson, NJ) netted a goal and one assist to help lead the Caldwell University women's soccer team to a 3-1 win against Concordia College in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action.
The Cougars improve to 4-5-1 overall and remain unbeaten in CACC play with a 4-0-1 mark. The Clippers drop to 0-7-0 overall and 0-6-0 in conference play.
Concordia jumped out to an early lead as they netted a goal in the second minute of play. The Clipper held the lead for most of the first half but the Cougars answered late in the opening half. Freshman
Emily Valerian (Roseland, NJ) netted the equalizer in the 43rd minute as she took advantage of a turnover to put Caldwell on the board right before the half.
Caldwell got the offense going in the second half as Folk gave the Cougars the lead for good in the 64th minute of play. Folk chipped the ball over the keeper for a 2-1 Caldwell lead midway in the second half. The Cougars added an insurance goal four minutes later as senior
Remi Piccirillo (Toms River, NJ) scored her second goal of the season off a Folk assist to extend the Caldwell lead to 3-1.

Mary Kanzler (East Northport, NY) turned in a solid effort, totaling six saves in the contest.
The Cougars travel to Wilmington University on Saturday, October 3 for a CACC match-up against the Wildcats at 12:30 pm.
