CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's soccer team lost their first conference game of the season as they fell 1-0 to the Wilmington University Wildcats in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action.
The Cougars fall to 4-6-1 overall and 4-1-1 in CACC play while the Wildcats improve to 5-3-0 and 5-1-0 in conference play.
The teams battled to a scoreless first half as each attempted five shots. In the second half, the Wildcats held the advantage in shots 8-4 and netted the lone goal of the game in the 62nd minute. The Cougars attempted two shots in the final 28 minutes but couldn't come up with the equalizer.
