The Week AheadThe Caldwell University men's soccer team hosts a pair of Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference matches this week. The Cougars continue CACC play as they host Post University on Tuesday Sept 22 at 4:00 pm. Caldwell wraps up the week as they welcome CACC rival Philadelphia University on Saturday Sept 26 for a 2:00 pm contest.

http://www.sidearmstats.com/caldwell/msoc/Scouting the CougarsThe Cougars come into the week with a record of 0-6-0 (0-2-0 CACC). The Cougars dropped their first two conference games last week against Nyack College by one goal and Goldey-Beacom College by one goal in double overtime.
Christian Castro (Clifton, NJ), Caldwell's leading scorer, scored his third goal of the season against Nyack College. The only goal scored by the Cougars against Goldey-Beacom was scored by
Jakub Havlak (Prague, Czech Republic). In only his second game of the season, Havlak scored his first goal of the season.
Scouting the EaglesThe Eagles come into the week with a record of 2-4-0 (1-2-0 CACC). The Eagles dropped back- to-back one-goal games last week to conference teams Concordia College and Chestnut Hill College. Anthony Asante (Bronx, NY) is the Eagles' leading scorer with four goals scored in six games played. Serigne Baba Gaye (Dakar, Senegal) comes into the week with a goals against average of 1.66 and has recorded 15 saves in six games played.
Scouting the RamsThe Rams enter the week with a record of 3-2-1 (1-2-0 CACC). The Rams split their two games last week with 2-0 win over Mercy College and a 1-0 loss over Dominican College. Angelo Dambalas (Marlton, NJ) is the leading scorer for the Rams with three goals scored in six games played. Ben Sauer (Bel Air, MD.) is in the top five of Goal Keepers in the conference with a goals against average of 0.80 and 14 saves.
CACC Roundup Christian Castro is in the top six in the conference with three goals for Caldwell.
Michael Hartmann is tied for first place in the conference with saves among goalies with 41 in six games played. Hartmann is tied with James Jackson of Chestnut Hill who also has recorded 41 saves in six games played.
