Tamara Klimek (Novi Sad, Serbia) continued her stellar individual play with wins in #1 singles and doubles play to lead the Caldwell University women's tennis team to a 8-1 win over Molloy College. The Cougars even their record at 2-2 on the season, while the Lions fall to 0-5.

Emily Slater (Cliffwood Beach, NJ) won at #1 doubles 8-4. Sophomore
Rebecca Ryan (Berkeley Heights, NJ) and senior
Sara Riccardi (Jersey City, NJ) took the win at #2 doubles 8-2, while junior
Koumudi Thirunagaru (San Ramon, CA) and sophomore
Debra Pellegrino (Valley Stream, NY) completed the doubles sweep with a 8-3 win at #3.
In singles play, Klimek took the win at #1 with a 6-0, 6-7 (4-7), 10-8 win, while Ryan swept #2 singles 6-0, 6-0. Slater won at #3 singles 6-1, 6-1, while Riccardi posted a win at #4 singles 6-1, 6-1. Thirunagaru completed the match with a 6-3, 6-4 win at #5 singles.
The Cougars are back on the court on Friday, September 18 when they will travel to LIU Post for a 3 pm start.
