BROOKVILLE, N.Y.- Freshman Katrina Janssen (Seville, Australia) led the Cougars with 11 kills but the Caldwell University volleyball team fell to the LIU Post Pioneers in a non-conference match. The Cougars fall to 13-7 overall, while the Pioneers improve to 14-4.

The Pioneers took the match in three sets, winning close in the first two 25-20, 25-21 and took set three 25-13.

Janssen added two blocks to her totals, while freshman Kristin Murrell (Toledo, OH) added eight kills and five digs. Sophomore Gabrielle Bennett (San Antonio, TX) totaled 19 assists, while sophomore Jessica Mitchell (Plainfield, IL) finished with 11 digs.

The Cougars cap their week with a road CACC match at Holy Family University on Saturday, October 10 at 1 pm.
