Women’s Tennis Comes Up Short to Daemen

CALDWELL, N.J.- Junior Tamara Klimek (Novi Sad, Serbia) improve to 5-2 overall in singles play but the Caldwell University women's tennis team fell 5-4 to Daemen College in non-conference play.

 The Cougars fall to 2-6 overall, while the Wildcats improve to 4-6.
Klimek won at #1 singles 6-4, 6-1, while senior Emily Slater (Cliffwood Beach, NJ) took home a victory at #3 singles 6-4, 6-2.

In doubles play, Klimek and Slater won at #1 doubles 8-5, while sophomore Rebecca Ryan (Berkeley Heights, NJ) and senior Sara Riccardi (Jersey City, NJ) took the win at #2 doubles 8-4.

The Cougars are back on the court on Tuesday, October 6 as they host Concordia College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match at 4 pm.
