BRONXVILLE, N.Y.- The Caldwell University women's volleyball team won their second straight conference match as they defeated the Concordia College Clippers 3-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action.
The Cougars won the match in three sets as they defeated the Clippers 25-16, 25-18 and closed out the match with a 25-16 win in the third set.
Caldwell improves to 18-10 overall and picked up their tenth CACC win as they up their conference mark to 10-5. The Clippers drop to 3-12 overall and in CACC play.
Sophomore
Taryn Auyong (Honolulu, HI) tallied eight kills, two blocks and four digs, while senior
Rachael DiLeonardo (Milton, GA) totaled eight kills, three blocks and five digs. Sophomore
Katrina Janssen (Seville, Australia) recorded six kills and five blocks, while senior
Kelsey Blankerts (Sylvania, OH) led the team with 10 blocks.
Sophomore
Gabrielle Bennett (San Antonio, TX) added 17 assists, while freshman
Jordan Hoffman (Colorado Springs, CO) chipped in 11 assists. Sophomore
Jessica Mitchell (Plainfield, IL) led the team with seven digs.
Caldwell hosts Goldey-Beacom College on Saturday, October 31 at 2 pm at the Newman Center.
