CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's soccer team extended their win streak to three and are unbeaten in seven of the last eight as they defeated the Chestnut Hill College Griffins 2-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action.
The Cougars improve to 7-6-1 overall and 6-1-1 in CACC play, while the Griffins fall to 4-7-1 and 2-6-1 in conference play.

Sarina Soriano (San Jose, CA) put the Cougars on the board in the 11th minute of play off a deflection to put Caldwell up 1-0. Freshman
Emily Valerian (Roseland, NJ) added a score in the second half as she scored off an assist from fellow freshman
Jessica LaConde (Huntington Beach, CA) in the 84th minute of play.
The Cougars held the advantage in shots 27-9, while the teams were even on corner kicks 3-3.

Mary Kanzler (East Northport, NY) posted her sixth shutout of the season, as she recorded four saves.
The Cougars travel to Dominican College on Wednesday, October 21 for a CACC match at 3:30 pm.
