BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The Caldwell University women's soccer team lost a non-conference game on the road to LIU Post, 5-0 on Tuesday afternoon. The Cougars drop to 3-4-2 overall, while the Pioneers improve to 7-1 on the season.

Sarah McGarry put LIU Post on the scoreboard with a goal in the 13th minute. Susanne Vistnes then extended the Pioneers' lead by scoring three consecutive goals for a 4-0 lead. Morgan Miller closed out the scoring with a successful penalty kick in the 84th minute.

Sophomore goalkeeper Kylie Whalen (Hazlet, NJ/Raritan) recorded a career-best 11 saves in the loss, while Hreffie Agnarsdottir (two saves) and Felicia Orderud (one save) split the goalkeeping duties for LIU Post.

Caldwell returns to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play on Saturday, Oct. 4 with a home game against Chestnut Hill College. Game time is set for 12:00 p.m. at Caldwell Field.
