box scoreCALDWELL, N.J. – The Caldwell University women's tennis team lost a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference dual to visiting Philadelphia University, 8-1 Saturday afternoon at the Caldwell University Tennis Courts. The dual marked the final competition of the season for the Cougars, who end the year with a 4-7 record overall and a 2-6 mark in league play. The Rams improve to 12-3, 5-3 CACC.
Caldwell's lone point came at first doubles, where junior

Rebecca Ryan (Berkeley Heights, NJ/Koinonia Acad.) defeated Olivia Amato and Julia Arruda, 8-3. The dual also marked the final matches for senior
Gwynne Alden (Spring Lake Heights, NJ/Manasquan), who won 18 singles matches during her four years at Caldwell.
First-year head coach
David Erdos will return six players from this year's roster in 2015.
