NEWARK, Del. – The Caldwell College men's soccer team fell to Wilmington University, 3-1 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match Saturday afternoon at the WU Athletics Complex. The loss drops the Cougars to 4-3 overall and 2-2 in league play, while the Wildcats are now 7-2, 4-1 CACC.

Nicolas Prieto (Newark, NJ/Allentown) for a 1-0 advantage. Three minutes after halftime, Jordan Ellison tied the score for Wilmington with an unassisted goal. Tom Quaranta tallied the go-ahead goal in the 61st minute off an assist from Geoff Velasquez, then Ellison assisted on Elton Joe's insurance goal in the 89th minute.

Michael Hartmann (Medford, NJ/Shawnee) registered six saves for Caldwell, as the Cougars were out-shot, 22-6. Frank Hall had three saves for the Wildcats.
Caldwell hosts Queens College in a non-conference game on Monday, Sept. 30, beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Caldwell Field.
