ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. – The Caldwell College women's tennis team dropped a non-conference dual to Molloy College, 9-0 Monday afternoon at Eisenhower Park. The result gives the Cougars a record of 0-2 on the season, while the Lions improve to 3-3.

After sweeping the three doubles matches, Molloy took five of the six singles matches in straight sets. Freshman Koumudi Thirunagaru (San Ramon, CA/Homestead) battled Megan Lawless at fifth singles before falling in a tie-breaker, 6-1, 1-6, 11-9.

The Cougars return to action on Thursday, Sept. 19 with a home dual against East Stroudsburg University. The first matches begin at 4:00 p.m. at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts.
