LYNDHURST, N.J. – Needing a win to stay alive in the postseason picture, the Caldwell College men's soccer team lost to Felician College, 4-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game Wednesday afternoon at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex. The Cougars end their season with a 7-10-1 record overall and a 4-7-1 mark in the conference. The Golden Falcons finish at 4-11-2, 4-7-1 CACC.
Rafa Coronel scored goals in the 38th and 49th minutes to give Felician a 2-0 lead. Alex Jean added a goal in the 73rd minute, and an own goal in the 90th minute made it 4-0. The Cougars took 16 shots and put five on goal, but were unable to beat Golden Falcons goalkeeper Daniel Wroblewski, who made five saves for the shutout. Sophomore goalkeeper
Michael Hartmann (Medford, NJ/Shawnee) tallied five saves in goal for Caldwell.
The game also was the final contest for Caldwell seniors
