CALDWELL, N.J. – The Caldwell College women's tennis team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference dual to visiting Georgian Court University, 9-0 Wednesday afternoon at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts. The Cougars fall to 1-7 overall and 1-5 in the conference, while the Lions improve to 2-6, 2-4 CACC.

Caldwell played two close matches at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, with sophomore Emily Slater (Cliffwood Beach, NJ/Old Bridge) and junior Gwynne Alden (Spring Lake Heights, NJ/Manasquan) eventually falling in three-set matches.

Caldwell hosts Philadelphia University on Sunday, Oct. 6, beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts.
