CALDWELL, N.J. – The Caldwell College men's soccer team lost a competitive 1-0 decision to 15th-ranked Post University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match Wednesday afternoon at Caldwell Field. The Cougars drop to 4-5 overall and 2-3 in conference play with the loss, while the Eagles improve to 7-1, 5-1 CACC.

Sophomore goalkeeper Michael Hartmann (Medford, NJ/Shawnee) made several outstanding saves, including three on breakaway chances, to keep Caldwell in the game. But in the 81st minute, Francisco Sastre received a pass from Armando Filho down the right side, dribbled in and beat Hartmann for the game's only goal.

Hartmann finished with six saves on the day for the Cougars, while Andrew Lindsay recorded four saves for Post, who out-shot Caldwell, 17-9.

Next up for the Cougars is a CACC match-up with Chestnut Hill College on Saturday, Oct. 5, beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Philadelphia, Pa.
