CALDWELL, N.J. – The Caldwell College women's tennis team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference dual to Holy Family University, 7-2 Saturday afternoon at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts. The Cougars are now 1-6, 0-5 CACC after the loss, while the Tigers improve to 5-4, 3-2 CACC.

Caldwell's first point came at No. 2 doubles, where sophomores Gwynne and Paige Alden (Spring Lake Heights, NJ/Manasquan) beat Steicy Castro and Maja Pantelic, 8-5. In singles, sophomore Briana Gaspich (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial) won her match at No. 4 singles, 6-3, 2-6, 10-1 over Castro.

Next up for Caldwell is a CACC dual at Post University on Wednesday, Oct. 3, beginning at 3:00 p.m. in Waterbury, Conn.
