PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Caldwell College women's tennis team lost a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference dual at Philadelphia University, 7-2 Friday afternoon at the Abraham Salaman Courts. The Cougars are now 1-7 overall and 0-6 in the CACC after the loss, while the Rams improve to 10-6, 4-4 CACC.

Caldwell picked up a point at No. 2 doubles, where sophomores Gwynne and Paige Alden (Spring Lake Heights, NJ/Manasquan) defeated Magill Kurts and Elizabeth Verbits, 8-4. In singles, Paige Alden was victorious at No. 3 singles over Kurts, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, 1-0 (10-8).

Caldwell hosts the University of the Sciences on Saturday, Oct. 13 in a CACC dual, beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts.
