CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College women's tennis team defeated Molloy College, 6-3 in a non-conference dual Monday afternoon at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts. The victory gives the Cougars a 4-5 record on the season, while the Lions drop to 1-11.

Caldwell won one of the two contested doubles matches, with senior Olga Ndhlovu (Bergenfield, NJ/Bergenfield) and freshman Briana Gaspich (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial) earning an 8-1 victory at No. 2 doubles. Gaspich won her match at fourth singles in straight sets, while freshman Gwynne Alden (Spring Lake Heights, NJ/Manasquan), pictured, and senior Sara Wilkins (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) were victorious at second and third singles, respectively. The Cougars received wins via walkovers at sixth singles and third doubles.

Next up for Caldwell is a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference dual at Georgian Court University on Tuesday, Oct. 11, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
