PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Caldwell College women's tennis team lost a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference dual to Philadelphia University, 8-1 Wednesday afternoon at Abraham J. Salaman Courts. The Cougars are now 1-6 overall and 1-3 in the conference, while the Rams improve to 3-2 overall, 2-0 CACC.

The Cougars picked up their only point at No. 6 singles, where junior Kierra Tims (East Orange, NJ/East Orange) defeated Kaitlin MacQueen, 6-4, 1-6, 10-3. The Rams swept the three doubles matches and won the other five singles matches in straight sets to win the dual.

Caldwell faces Adelphi University on Friday, Sept. 24 in a non-conference dual in Garden City, N.Y.
