DOWLING BEATS CALDWELL IN WOMEN'S TENNIS, 5-1

CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College women's tennis team lost a non-conference dual to Dowling College, 5-1 Thursday afternoon at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts. With the loss, the Cougars are now 1-4 on the season, while the Lions improve to 4-1.

The Cougars' lone point came at No. 3 doubles, where junior Kierra Tims (East Orange, NJ/East Orange) and sophomore Danielle Levasseur (Eastport, NY/Eastport South), pictured, defeated Chanida Monparpunth and Michelle Disanto, 8-4. The singles matches at the third, fourth and sixth positions were not played due to rain.

The Cougars play at St. Thomas Aquinas College in a non-conference dual on Friday, Sept. 17.
