CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College women's tennis team was defeated by Chestnut Hill College, 9-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference dual Tuesday afternoon at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts. The result gives the Cougars a 1-3 overall record, including a 1-2 mark in conference play, while the Griffins improve to 2-2, 1-1 CACC.

Chestnut Hill won all three doubles matches, then took the first three singles matches in straight sets. The Griffins also were victorious in the bottom three singles matches in pro sets.

Caldwell is back in action on Thursday, Sept. 16 with a non-conference dual against Dowling College.
