CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College women's tennis team lost a non-conference dual to East Stroudsburg University, 6-0 Monday afternoon at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts. The defeat drops the Cougars to 1-2 on the season, while the Warriors open their 2010 schedule with a 1-0 record.
ESU swept the three doubles matches, then recorded straight-set victories at first, third and fifth singles. The matches at second, fourth and sixth singles were not completed due to lightning, and the dual was declared final.
Caldwell hosts Chestnut Hill College on Tuesday, Sept. 14 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference dual at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts.
