WATERBURY, Conn. - The Caldwell College men's soccer team lost to Post University, 2-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest Saturday afternoon at LaMoy Field. With the loss, the Cougars' three-game winning streak ends, giving them a 5-7 record overall and 3-5 in the CACC. The Eagles improve to 4-6-1, 4-3 CACC.
Both of Post's goals came in the first half. Eltany Morias scored in the seventh minute, then assisted on Mark Ridbridger's tally in the 27th minute. Caldwell junior goalkeeper John Londono (West New York, NJ/Memorial) made one save in the loss, while the Eagles' Errol Reid was not credited with making a save in recording the shutout.
Caldwell plays a non-conference game at C.W. Post on Wednesday, Oct. 13, beginning at 3:00 p.m. in Brookville, N.Y.
