BROOKVILLE, N.Y. - The Caldwell College men's soccer team dropped a non-conference game to C.W. Post, 2-0 Wednesday afternoon at the Pioneers' Men's Soccer Field. The result leaves the Cougars with an overall record of 5-8, while the Pioneers improve to 5-5-1.
Betim Bajrami scored both of C.W. Post's goals in the first half, finding the net in the 18th and 35th minutes. Both goals were unassisted. Pioneers' goalkeeper Marco Jorgensen kept the Cougars off the scoreboard with three saves, including two on shots by freshman forward Mosiah Whyte (Coram, NY/Newfield) in the second half. Junior goalkeeper John Londono (West New York, NJ/Memorial) made four saves in goal for Caldwell, which has lost its past two games.
The Cougars play a non-conference game against East Stroudsburg University on Saturday, Oct. 16, beginning at 1:00 p.m. in East Stroudsburg, Pa.
