SPARTANS BLANK CALDWELL IN WOMEN'S TENNIS

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - The Caldwell College women's tennis team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference dual to Georgian Court University, 9-0 Tuesday afternoon at the Ellen Mullane Gallagher Tennis Center. With the loss, the Cougars fall to 0-4 overall and 0-2 in league play, while the Lions improve to 2-4, 2-1  CACC.

The closest match was at No. 2 singles, where senior Brittni Frantellizzi (Binghamton, NY/Susquehanna Valley) took Natalie Grieci to three sets before falling, 4-6, 6-4, 12-10. Georgian Court also received points via walkover at third doubles and sixth singles.

The Cougars host Goldey-Beacom College on Thursday, Sept. 24, beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts.
