CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College men's soccer team earned a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory over Felician College, 3-0 Tuesday afternoon at Caldwell Field. The win is the Cougars' fourth in a row and keeps Caldwell (6-3) unbeaten in conference play at 3-0, while the Golden Falcons drop to 3-4 overall, 1-2 CACC.

Senior forward Chad Bennett (Kingston, Jamaica/Campion) notched his team-leading fifth goal of the season when he received a pass from sophomore midfielder Eirik Utheim (Trondheim, Norway/KVT) behind the defense. Bennett dribbled around goalkeeper Paulo DosSantos and shot the ball past a diving defender for a 1-0 lead in the 18th minute. The score remained 1-0 well into the second half, with Felician gaining momentum while battling for the equalizer. But in the 75th minute, sophomore midfielder Frank Nobre (Carteret, NJ/St. Benedict's Prep) took a pass from junior defender Justin Everett (Stewartstown, PA/Kennard Dale), dribbled down the right flank and found junior midfielder Justin Miller (Monroe, NJ/Monroe) in the penalty area. Miller put the ball in the net for his second of the season and a 2-0 lead. He then set up the game's final goal when he blasted a shot that was saved by DosSantos. But senior forward Luis Sartorio (Asuncion, Paraguay/St. Benedict's Prep) was there for the rebound and scored his third goal in as many games for a 3-0 lead.

Senior goalkeeper John Plaugic (Kearny, NJ/Kearny), pictured, registered five saves for his first shutout of the season. DosSantos also finished with five saves for Felician. Caldwell's offensive performance marked the fourth straight game in which the Cougars have scored at least three goals.

The Cougars play host to regional foe Dowling College on Thursday, Sept. 25, with the kick-off set for 4:00 p.m. at Caldwell Field.
