GEORGIAN COURT TOPS COUGARS IN WOMEN'S TENNIS

CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College women's tennis team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference dual to Georgian Court University, 8-1 Thursday afternoon at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts. With the loss, the Cougars fall to 2-6 on the season, including a 1-3 mark in the CACC. The Lions are now 5-5, 3-2 CACC.

The Cougars earned their only point of the dual at No. 1 singles, where junior Emilie Skidmore (Pompton Plains, NJ/Pequannock Twp.) defeated Autumn Florez, 7-6 (7-4), 6-2. The Lions swept all three doubles matches and won the remaining singles matches without surrendering a set.
