CALDWELL DEFEATED BY ST. THOMAS AQUINAS IN WOMEN'S TENNIS


CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College tennis team lost to St. Thomas Aquinas College, 8-1 Monday afternoon in a non-conference dual at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts. The result drops the Cougars to 2-11 on the season.

Senior Emilie Skidmore (Pompton Plains, NJ/Pequannock Twp.) earned the only point for the Cougars with an 8-2 win over Caroline Gizzi in a pro set at No. 1 singles. Skidmore is now 5-8 in singles play this season.

The Cougars wrap up the 2007 season with a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference dual with Chestnut Hill College on Tuesday, Oct. 9. The first match begins at 3:00 p.m. at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts.
