CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College women's tennis team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference dual with Holy Family University, 8-1 Saturday afternoon in the Cougars' season opener at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts. The Cougars start the season 0-1, while the Tigers improve to 2-0.
Caldwell's only victory came at No. 1 singles, where senior Oksana Manoukian (Old Tappan, NJ/Northern Valley Regional) defeated Lauren Neill, 7-6, 6-1. Manoukian, who is in her third season at Caldwell, improved to 20-1 in dual matches for her career.
The Cougars are back in action on Sunday, Sept. 10, when they host Dowling College at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts. The non-conference dual begins at 11:00 a.m.
