BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Caldwell College women's tennis team lost a non-conference dual at Bloomsburg University, 8-1 Wednesday afternoon. The dual marks the end of the regular season for the Cougars, who finished 6-8 overall, including a 2-4 record in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

Senior Oksana Manoukian (Old Tappan, NJ/Northern Valley Regional) earned the team's only point with her straight-set victory at No. 1 singles. Manoukian, who won the NJAIAW Flight A Singles title this past weekend, has not lost a singles match this year and is 17-0. She will compete at the CACC Individual Championships on Oct. 20-21 in Philadelphia, Pa., along with teammates Emilie Skidmore (Pompton Plains, NJ/Pequannock Twp.) and Brittni Frantellizzi (Binghamton, NY/Susquehanna Valley).

The dual also is the final team competition for seniors Manoukian, Joellen Keaney (Oak Bluffs, MA/Martha's Vineyard) and Danielle O'Connell (South Amboy, NJ/St. John Vianney). The trio helped the women's tennis program that hadn't won more than two duals in a season record 17 victories over the past three seasons.
