Taylor Calero was named Caldwell University Assistant Athletic Trainer in September 2025. Calero works primarily with the volleyball, men's lacrosse and women's lacrosse teams at Caldwell.
Calero has experience on the NCAA level at Mercy University, where she served as Associate Athletic Trainer from 2022-2024. There she worked closely with the Mavericks' women's soccer, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, softball and women's lacrosse teams. She has also worked as a physical therapy aide with Spectrum Physical Therapy & Athletic Training in N.J.
"We are excited to add Taylor to our athletic training staff," said Heather Arabitg, Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine/Head Athletic Trainer & SWA. "She has a great knowledge of Division II athletics through her years as a student-athlete and trainer, and she will be a great fit at Caldwell University Athletics."
The standout women's soccer student-athlete and team captain from New City, N.Y., graduated from CACC rival Dominican University in 2020 with a B.S. in Athletic Training, and is working towards her Master of Arts in Digital Marketing from Emerson College.Â
