John Renaldo was named Caldwell University flag football assistant coach in August 2026. He served as head girls flag football coach at Wayne Hills (N.J.) HS for three seasons from 2023-25 after a year as an assistant at Indian Hills HS in Oakland, N.J. He also has experience as a boys football and basketball coach at DePaul Catholic HS and Midland Park HS.
While at Wayne Hills, Renaldo was honored as the New York Jets Girls Flag High School Coach of the Week Game Changer, leading the Patriots to an 8-2 mark and No. 3 ranking in North Jersey. He also has several years of experience coaching youth flag football in the NFL's New Jersey Flag Football Association (NJFFA) and the Under Armour North Jersey - Wayne Under the Lights flag football league.
The DePaul Catholic HS Athletic Hall of Fame member participated in football, basketball and track at the Wayne, N.J. based school.
The University of Delaware graduate and scholarship football player is a career counseling officer at Rutgers Business School. He previously co-founded Career Trax Inc., serving as principal from 1997-2019.
Renaldo is an avid runner and endurance athlete, having competed in the NYC US Ironman Championship, NYC Marathon,
Boston Marathon, 100-mile charity run and Philadelphia Marathon. He has two daughters, Jessica and Julia.
