Dr. Matthew Kimball PT, DPT was named JAG Physical Therapist at Caldwell University in March 2026. He recently completed his Sports Certified Specialist Residency through JAG Physical Therapy (completed January 31, 2026).
The Tigard, Oregon, native graduated from Pacific (Ore.) University in 2018 with a B.S. in Exercise Science Integrative Physiology and Psychology minor.Â
He then graduated from fellow CACC institution Dominican University of New York, completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2024, earning a cum laude GPA. There he earned the Clinical Education Award for top student in his class during clinical rotations and the DUNY Research Award. Additionally, Kimball has published original research in The Journal of Exercise Rehabilitation as well and presented a poster at the Combined Sections Meeting for the American Physical Therapy Association.Â
Kimball is also certified in Emergency Response for the Athlete (ERA).
"I'm incredibly excited to open a Physical Therapy clinic on campus at Caldwell University and contribute to Caldwell University's Athletic Medical Team," said Kimball.
At Pacific, Kimball earned four all-conference awards competing in soccer for the Boxers and was the president of the program's SAAC as well as SAAC president for the Northwest Conference.
He resides in Wayne, N.J.
