Sofia Cassese was named Caldwell University volleyball assistant coach in August 2025. Cassese, a 2023 graduate of Montclair State University, also earned her M.S. in Sport Management from West Virginia University this year.
The Dumont, N.J. native was a four-year member of the Dumont HS volleyball team. With a lifelong passion for sports, both as a player and through her academic pursuits, Cassese brings a fresh perspective and enthusiasm for player development to the Cougars.
"I'm excited to contribute to the Caldwell University volleyball program and help student-athletes succeed both on and off the court," said Cassese.
