Amy Berry

Amy Berry was selected to lead the Caldwell University women's volleyball program in May 2020 and begins her third season leading the Cougars in 2022. Berry was a four-year standout player at fellow Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference school, Georgian Court University, and has an extensive background in the volleyball community.

Last season, the Cougars posted three conference victories and had four student-athletes honored on the CACC All-Academic Team. In her first season with the Cougars in spring 2021, Berry guided the program to a 3-4 record and 3-3 conference mark in a shortened season due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Berry led the Cougars to the CACC Quarterfinals and coached one all-conference player that season. 

Berry is currently the Vice President and Director of Operations at the Garden State Elite Volleyball Club since 2017. In her duties with GSEVC, Berry develops and implements multiple training programs for the club. She manages the social media content for the club and has coached various age levels within the club. Berry previously served as the head women's volleyball coach at the County College or Morris for three seasons and guided the Titans to the conference playoffs in each season. 

In addition, Berry has coached volleyball at PowerZone Volleyball Center for two years and was a club coach at Ocean County Volleyball Club for two years. She also served as the interim volleyball coach at Jackson Liberty High School for one season and qualified for both the Shore Conference and State Tournaments in 2015.

Berry continues to be active in competitive volleyball as a player. She competes in indoor, grass, and beach volleyball, as well as participate in 9Man volleyball, which is a history-centric Asian volleyball community where volleyball is played on concrete.

Berry played for Georgian Court from 2009-12 on the volleyball team as well part of the women's track and field team. As a volleyball player, she was a CACC Second Team All-Conference selection as a senior and finished her career with 993 kills, 667 digs, 89 service aces and 90 total blocks. Berry was a three-year captain for the Lions and was part of the Lions 2009 CACC Championship squad. She was a two-time conference champion in the javelin, qualifying for nationals in 2011. Berry was voted as the department's most valuable player in her senior year. In addition, Berry represented the CACC on the National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for three years.

Berry graduated from Georgian Court in 2014 with a degree in exercise science with a concentration in women's coaching and holds a minor in psychology.
