Tara Troisi joined the Cougars staff as assistant coach in August 2024 but is no stranger to the CACC, having competed at Dominican University and finishing her collegiate playing career at Georgian Court University. In 2015 Troisi was offered a contract with Swedish division 1 team. Troisi played semi professionally with clubs throughout N.J. She continues to play futsal and in tournaments. 

Troisi is Owner and CEO of Underdog Elite Soccer Training in Monmouth County, N.J. She specializes in one on one, group training and team training. In addition, she is a big advocate of soccer and futsal as an outlet for children, and has a particular affinity for working with children and adults with special needs. 

The 2012 GCU graduate and Freehold, N.J. native, Is currently with the young Olympian and NJ Odp program, the Jackson Lions woman u23 Head coach and the Jackson lions men’s professional NPSL Assistant coach. Troisi worked at Soccer Specific Training in Wall, N.J. for many years where she serviced players from youth to high level through N.J. Additionally, she was the Perth Amboy varsity girls head coach for the 2020-2021 season, leading the team in her first year to the most consecutive wins in over a decade. 

Troisi holds a BA in Psychology, a minor in Sociology and has Master level courses in School Psychology, Special Education and Applied Behavioral Analysis.
