Steph Cubero begins her first season as an Assistant Coach at Caldwell. She comes to Caldwell after spending two years at St Thomas Aquinas College where she was the assistant women’s soccer coach.
Cubero graduated from Montclair State University with her Bachelors in Physical Education with a Concentration in Physical Activity in the Educational Setting in 2014 and with her Master of Science in Exercise Science and Physical Education with a Concentration in Sports Administration and Coaching in 2017. In 2016, while in graduate school, she was an assistant to the MSU Men’s soccer team, primarily in charge of helping the head coach with administrative tasks on a daily basis.
Cubero has served as a coach for the New York Red Bulls Youth Programs since 2015. Before that, she was back at Mt St Dominic Academy, where she went to high school ’10, as the junior varsity girls’ soccer coach from 2013-2015. She was a three-year starter at Mt St Dominic Academy where she then went to play club soccer at Montclair State University. Cubero resides in West Orange, NJ.
