Sarah Caughy begins her first season with the Caldwell women’s lacrosse team as an assistant coach. Caughy comes to Caldwell after an outstanding playing career at Marywood University in Scranton, Pa., where she scored 183 goals to rank third all-time in the program’s history. As a senior, she scored a team-leading 51 goals, earning all-Colonial States Athletic Conference first team honors. Caughy, who made the all-CSAC second team as a junior and earned all-CSAC honorable mention as a freshman and sophomore, also is third all-time at Marywood in points with 233.
An athletic training major at Marywood, Caughy works as a fitness coach in her hometown of Whippany, N.J. She also coached youth lacrosse at Valley Laxerz Lacrosse Day Clinic in Pittston, Pa.
