Tanisha Grayson

Tanisha Grayson enters her second season as an assistant women’s basketball coach at Caldwell University. 
 
Prior to joining the Caldwell family, Coach Grayson was a head coach for three teams at St. Joseph School in East Orange and moved on to become one the basketball travel team head coaches in West Orange.  In addition, she has spent time coaching and training individual players and AAU teams with Young World Ballers. Grayson is also an adjunct at Caldwell, teaching Computer Essentials.
 
Grayson played basketball for Midwest City High School in Oklahoma, led her team to win the state championship, was named to the Big All-City First Team and the All-State Team. She earned basketball and academic scholarships to attend St. Gregory’s College and the University of Bridgeport.
 
Grayson has a passion for basketball and working with our future leaders. She believes a coach’s responsibility is to not only develop and help student-athletes improve on the court but also help them see their full potential off the court. Grayson has been known to incorporate math into practices to keep players on their toes.
 
Coach Grayson has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from NYU Poly and a Master’s Degree in IT Education from Capella University.
