Kristen Koehler returns for her second season as an assistant coach for the Cougars. She brings extensive administration experience in college and professional sports to the women’s basketball program. Koehler served as Head Manager for the Marist College Women’s Basketball team and subsequently served as their Sports Information Assistant. She has also worked for the NBA, including on the launch of the WNBA, CBS Sports-NCAA Account, and on the gameday staff of the New Jersey Nets, Caldwell College, Wagner College, and Seton Hall University. In addition to operations experience, Koehler has served various roles in fundraising, travel, marketing, and ticketing.
Koehler also serves as an adjunct professor in Caldwell’s Communication Arts Department and Wagner College’s MBA Program. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Marist College and Master’s degree in Communications and Doctorate in Higher Education – Leadership, Management, and Policy from Seton Hall University. Koehler recently married Caldwell alum Hasani Whitfield and they reside in Rahway, N.J.
