Chelsea Loscalzo returns to the Cougars coaching staff for her second year as an assistant coach. Loscalzo played for Caldwell from 2009-13, helping the Cougars win the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division and advance to the conference tournament finals her senior year.
Loscalzo played in 21 games with three starts as a senior, scoring a career-high eight points in a victory over Nyack on Jan. 23. The team's captain her junior and senior year, she is one of only two players to serve as captain for more than one year during head coach Linda Cimino’s tenure at Caldwell.
Loscalzo also excelled academically at Caldwell, earning a spot on the CACC All-Academic Team as a sophomore, junior and senior. She also received the Division II Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award all three years. A marketing major, she is in the MBA program at Caldwell.
