Amiya Rankins

Coach Rankins EncouragesAmiya Rankins joined Caldwell University as assistant women's basketball coach in August 2024, but she is no stranger to Coach Conforti, having starred at center for Concordia College under the current Caldwell head coach, graduating in 2020 with a degree in business administration and minor in psychology.

Rankins comes to Caldwell after most recently serving as assistant coach for the Cairn (Pa.) women's basketball squad, helping the Highlanders to a 16-11 mark last year. She gained further coaching experience with her childhood AAU program, Team Miller Lighting.

Rankins was a standout player at Franklin High School (Somerset, NJ) where she played an integral role in the team's success. Notably, during the 2013-14 season, Rankins contributed to Franklin Warriors' impressive 23-4 record and their victorious run in the NJSIAA Group 4 tournament. The following season, the Warriors continued their winning streak with a 24-6 record and another triumph in the NJSIAA Group 4 tournament.

Rankins resides in Somerset County, N.J.
