Gael Alvarez-Rojas joins the Caldwell University sprint football staff for the 2026 season after a standout playing career at Nichols (Mass.) College, where he started for three years in the defensive backfield. He finished second in school history in pass breakups, including a 2024 campaign when he swatted 13 passes, adding 30 tackles, two for loss, and an interception.
The Teaneck native graduated from Teaneck H.S. in 2021, having earned two All-Bergen County and Super Football All-Conference selections. He also participated in the Phil Simms North Jersey All-Star Game.
Rojas resides in Teaneck.
