Biography

General: Developing pitcher who contributed as a freshman. 2012/Freshman: Turned in a record of 10-2 with an earned run average of 2.95 in 87 2/3 innings… Pitched a three-hit, seven-inning shutout at Nyack 3/20… Fanned six in a complete-game, 2-1 win over Bloomfield 3/27… Had six strikeouts in a win at Chestnut Hill 4/10. Prior to Caldwell: Named to the all-South Jersey third team as a senior at Sterling High School… Also made the all-conference first team… Helped Sterling capture the Group 2 South Jersey championship and advance to the state Group 2 semifinals in 2011… Tossed a three-hit shutout in a 1-0 victory over Buena in the section final.
